If You're Not Moved By This, You're Not Human

I’ve watched this video about nine-year-old Caine Monroy and the amazing cardboard arcade he built maybe 10 times. It hasn’t gotten boring, and never fails to bring a smile to my face. It’s not just an story about a young man who literally built something out of cast-off items, but also one of incredible ingenuity. This gives me hope for the future, and the future of the maker subculture in general.

To be honest, I’m still impressed with the games that Caine created and some of the solutions he found to problems —like building a grabber claw for one game and using a calculator to validate whether or not a player can use a pass with certain games.

As the title of this post says, if you’re not moved by this video you’re not human.
